As a result of the rise of this sport, and in an enclave predetermined by the Montjuic mountain Management Plan, this facility is built on the same unstable foundation as all existing facilities in the area: a landfill covered for the Olympic Games above the weakened stone quarries of Montjuic,  next to the veteran 1992 Olympic Baseball Field, which somehow continues to be an equipment subordinated to this Field.

The proposal consists of standing tangent to the existing field, at a slightly higher elevation, with a wide raised platform for the public to see both fields. This one has a 2 meter drop from the playing court and this unevenness was solved by a reinforced soil wall which avoids pilings. 

There’s a linear stand for about 100 people and a metal tube structure that acts as a canopy, a protective mesh for the public and a structure for the small module of scoreboard (judges) and the public toilets. The structure avoids the use of the characteristic vertical masts which block the normal vision of the field and, in such a way, it becomes the iconic element of the installation.

The changing rooms can be accessed from the current baseball field, through a part of the deck accessible as a balcony between the two fields.
