Single Family Home. House reform and expansion of a farmhouse from the mid-21st century.

Surrounded by the characteristic and arid Mediterranean nature of the Maresme, Barcelona, this farmhouse was built in the 20th century.

We were asked to reform and expand the farmhouse in order to modernize its appearance. The design had one objective in mind: create soft-architecture (an architecture designed to live, enjoy and in communion with the environment). With this in mind, we re-imagined the foundations of the farmhouse whilst maintaining a chromatic, textual and architectural symphony with nature.
